Mr. Mak holds a DipT in Environmental Health (BCIT), a BSc in Biological Sciences (Concordia Edmonton), an MSc in Medical Sciences – Public Health Sciences (Alberta), a Certificate in Public Health Inspection (Canada), and he is pursuing a PhD in Public Health. His field experience in Environmental Public Health is comprehensive; he specializes in food safety education evaluation, environmental infection prevention and control, air quality, and human health risk assessment. As a former member of the Board of Certification of the environmental public health profession, he spearheaded the review and development of contemporary instructional objectives. His research includes airborne particulate matter apportionment, and Health Policy/Program Evaluation. However, “planting seeds for success” is paramount. Tony left public health services and returned to teaching in early 2016.
